Additional Info

The youth of the Ocean Bridge team, ran by Ocean Wise, is planning a plogging event (picking up litter while jogging) around the seawall in Stanley Park, and an ocean health fair in the plaza outside the Vancouver Aquarium, to be held on Oct. 13th. The goal is to engage the Vancouver public of all ages on the issue of ocean plastic pollution in a fun and healthy way. There will be a 5k route, with prizes for the most trash collected by weight. Afterwards, there will be educational booths and activities about plastic pollution and other ocean health related issues, as well as zero-waste living. The start and finish line, and booths will be in the plaza outside the Vancouver Aquarium.
