In 2018, volunteers coordinated 1,097 cleanups and collected 40,395 kg of litter on 1,278 km of Canadian shoreline.

Look for our table and poster/banner saying "Northwest Wildlife Preservation Society." We will be set up in the middle of the park near the picnic tables and bathrooms.

We will have bags and gloves but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Small bags work best. Feel free to bring water gear also (SUP, or bathing suit and towel, net, whatever!) if you want to clean the water. As this cleanup is being hosted by local wildlife education charity Northwest Wildlife Preservation Society (, we will have a great educational display table with incredible biological artefacts of local wildlife. Be sure to come check us out! Fun for all ages.
