On October 13th, the Centennial College Environmental Student Society (ESS) is hosting a Shoreline Cleanup and planting that will focus on the area from Greenvale Park and along the Highland Creek Ravine. Event registration will start at 10am but be sure to stay for the free BBQ at Greenvale Park afterwards! Come support our mission to encourage students and members of the community to take part in various environmental events and to increase awareness of key environmental issues. Who is the Centennial College Environmental Student Society (ESS)? Formed in September 2000 with the mission to foster and encourage student and community participation in environmental issues, the ESS serves as a means for the students at Centennial College to implement innovative ideas and solutions to increase environmental awareness both within the college and within the community.
