The Gazebo, found across from the public washrooms. Participants are welcome to arrive at the Woodbine Beach Park Gazebo between 10:00-10:45am to register and receive free cleanup supplies, the cleanup will begin at 10:45 and continue until 12:30 when a free lunch will be served. Please check the weather before you arrive and dress according to weather conditions, closed toed shoes are recommended. Also, we recommend that you bring with you a reusable water container which you can fill up at our cleanup.
Woodbine Beach Park is located on Lake Ontario, between Coxwell and Woodbine Avenues. Vehicles can access Woodbine Beach Park from Lakeshore Boulevard East, just east of Coxwell Avenue. Parking is available off Lakeshore at Northern Dancer Blvd. To access Woodbine Beach Park by public transit, take the Queen 501 Streetcar or the Bloor/Danforth subway line and exit at Woodbine Ave. From here, take the Woodbine 92 bus South. The park is only a few minutes walking distance south from the bus stop. Pedestrians and cyclists can reach the park from the Martin Goodman Trail and the Beaches Boardwalk. It is a very popular spot for jogging, picnics and sunbathing, and many common litter items can be found there like cigarette filters, beverage containers, and food wrappers.
